The Caregiver’s Circle
A Pediatric Oncology Support Group in Miami

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the world shifts into survival mode. Between hospital schedules and the 'triple shift' of work and home life, it’s easy for a caregiver’s own needs to be sidelined. The Caregiver’s Circle is a dedicated 8-week pediatric oncology support group in Miami designed to be your 'warm spot' in a clinical world — a place to set the heavy load down and be truly heard by those who understand.

Three Focus Areas

A hospital corridor with a patient lying in a hospital bed.
A young boy with short brown hair, wearing a black T-shirt with a colorful graphic, sitting on a green perforated metal bench outdoors, holding a small wooden craft project with green and orange details, and a marker in his right hand. A water bottle is on the bench beside him. Part of a pink shirt is visible in the top left corner, and warm sunlight casts shadows on the ground.
  • Navigating the "Triple Shift": Strategies for balancing professional ambitions and family needs without the weight of caregiver guilt.

  • Managing "Scanxiety" & Uncertainty: Clinical tools to find stability during the high-stress windows of surveillance and waiting.

  • Reclaiming Identity: Rediscovering your sense of self and goals beyond the diagnosis, ensuring cancer isn't the only thing defining your story.

I believe every caregiver deserves a seat at the table. While I work with teens and adults across many challenges, this group is close to my heart. Having walked the journey of a pediatric oncology parent myself, through the shock of diagnosis and the long days of treatment, I understand the unique weight you carry. I speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese, and I am passionate about supporting those navigating these crises across different cultures.

Every family’s journey is different, and we offer two ways to find your "warm spot" depending on what you need right now

  • Individual Therapy: If you are looking for a private, dedicated space to process your personal story deeply, 1-on-1 sessions are a wonderful option. We are happy to check your insurance benefits to see if this is covered for you.

  • The Caregiver’s Circle: If you find strength in community and want to navigate this path alongside others who truly "get it," our 8-week group offers a powerful sense of connection. To ensure this support is sustainable for all oncology families, we offer a $20 community rate per session.

Not sure which fits your life best? Let's talk about it. Book a free 15-minute Connection Call, and we can review your needs and insurance together.
