Emily Yagudaev
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Emily Yagudaev is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern (RCMHCI) dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful personal growth. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Barry University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices and clinical care.
Emily works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, and is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for effective change and strives to meet each client with empathy, authenticity, and respect.
Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Emily focuses on helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, and build resilience. She also incorporates practical tools and collaborative goal-setting to help clients feel empowered and actively involved in their healing process.
Emily is particularly skilled in helping clients improve emotional regulation, manage anxiety and stress, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthier communication and relationship patterns. Her goal is to support clients in gaining greater self-understanding, confidence, and the skills needed to create lasting and meaningful change in their lives.
